Okay, I realized how dumb that story is so I'm starting a new one. It's called Over the River. I sure hope this story is better than the other one.

Part two!

Once upon a Dream...

"Once upon a time," began Alexa. Stories always made her feel better but she'd read about every single book on the shelves at home, and her little brother was to noisy so they couldn't go to the library. So she began telling her own story.

"Once upon a time there was a girl who was almost eight and wanted to be a singer. She was about to be on a TV show, but she couldn't because she wasn't old enough. She had to be thirteen, but she was only eight. She wished that she could be on the TV show so much, that the people changed their minds and said that if they had just had their birthday then they could go on the show. The girl was happy now. The End!" She finished her story.

At the TV station in Topeka the manager and the agents were talking and decided that if they did something unexpected more people would watch their show. So the Kansas Gazette's Headline the next morning was: "Birthday Singing: TV show announces that if you just had your B-day no matter age you can sing on!"

New 10 part story!

Once Upon a Dream...

Have you ever dreamed a dream that every body thought was impossible to come true? Well that's what happened to Alexa.

Alexa was 4 when she decided what she'd do when she grew up. She was going to be a singer! Of course a 4 year old pop star is almost impossible. But who cares? thought Alexa I'm gonna be a singer! - When I'm eight! Of course an 8 year old pop star is almost impossible too, but she practiced night and day, day and night.

One day right before her eighth birthday, she was watching her favorite show,The Amazing Singers of the Century, When they announced that they were going to Topeka! Topeka Was a 15 minute drive away! They were practically coming to her front doorstep! The problem was, She needed to be thirteen.

Favorite Story contest,and Writing Competition.

  • 1. I do not play favorites so no accusations.
  • 2. I may not have a copy of the book but I will try to find out if I can read it some where of the internet.
  • 3. No entering twice unless you tell about my blog on your site(I will check).
  • 4. If you choose a mean story(I don't mean like a little pig dies)That is rude to some one or something I will not record it.
  • 5. I would have to receive written permission from the publisher to record the book if it's under copyright so they might say no :( If this happens I will let the winner choose a different story.
If you haven't done this before this is what you do: You leave a comment saying what book you'd like me to read, It can be your personal favorite or just a random story.

And I'm hosting my first writing competition! However, I'm not allowed to ship anything to anyone(sorry). The Prize would be: Me reading your story on both of my blogs in read along and audio, Adding your blogs to my link bars(on both blogs), and recommending(I will only add and recommend your blog if it's appropriate) your blog on both of my blogs.
Here are the rules:
  • No making fun of other people's work. When some one works really hard on something it's cruel to make fun of it.
  • No using characters from other books. egs. Harry Potter, Hannah Montana, etc.
  • No accusations, I will not play favorites.
  • If you don't win you can NOT quit writing. Just because you don't win something every time doesn't mean you're not good at it.
  • Be patient. Blogger often takes a long time to process the video and I have to record it first, then turn it into a video so I can post it on blogger, and then see if blogger will accept it, And then wait for it to load.
  • Have Fun and use your imagination! A lot of the fun of writing is using your imagination!
